eToro has been offering access to crypto-assets for its retail clients since 2013. Users of the platform are allowed to buy, hold, or sell these assets on the investment platform.
DOT is increasingly gaining more popularity among crypto enthusiasts. The token’s unique structure of helping to reduce transaction fees for different crypto assets is also another of its strong points.
Polkadot is one of the top ten crypto assets in the world by market capitalization. As of press time, the crypto asset has a market cap of $31.4 billion. This makes it more valuable than Litecoin and Dogecoin.
On the other hand, FIL helps users rent and utilize unused storage spaces on the Filecoin network. Users find it easier to access more information and storage options as more users join and invest in the network.
Additionally, Filecoin has surged more than 250% this year alone. It now has a market cap of about $8 billion.
eToro To Add More Crypto Assets In The Future
Vice President of Business Solutions at eToro, Doron Rosenblum, commented on the additions of the two assets. He acknowledged that the crypto market has seen high volatility in recent times, stating that there has been an increase in the demand for the asset class. Doron noted that eToro is committed to providing more opportunities for its users to diversify their portfolios in the market. “We will continue to expand our range of crypto assets with more coins coming soon,” he added.
He, however, advised investors to carry out proper research on each product before placing their money in any of them.
